- About the Index: KRX Green is a stock index that is consisted of 20 constituents that are involved in green industry such as green certified business acquired by Korea government, and was introduced since December 20, 2010.
- Name of Stock Index: KRX Green (Green Industry Index)

Calculation
- Market capitalization weighted method based on free-floats
- capitalization limit: 10% (adjust quarterly in March, June, September, December)
- Market capitalization weighted value is applied: 1 for green specialized business, 0.5 for other business
- Base Date and Value: January4,2010 = 1000p
- Number of Constituents: 20
- Regular Realignment: Once a year (on the trading day after the second Thursday in September)
- Mid-term Realignment: Once a year (on the trading day after the second Thursday in March) However, Mid-term realignment is not conducted if all the constituents are green certified businesses.

Criteria for Selection: Green certified businesses are first selected and non-certified businesses that are
involved in green industry are additionally selected if the number of selected green certified businesses is short of the
number of constituents. Businesses that satisfy the selection criteria (industry criterion, market size·liquidity
criterion, and financial criterion) are selected according to the daily average market capitalization order.

- Green Certified Business: If the business is mainly involved in the manufacturing of ‘green technology subject to certification’ related products
- Non-certified Business: If the business is mainly involved in the manufacturing of ‘green technology subject to certification’ related products

Market Size·Liquidity Criterion
- Market Capitalization:The daily average market capitalization for the last 3 months must be ranked within the top 50% among listed common stocks
- Traded Amount: The daily average traded amount for the last 3 months must be ranked within the top 50% among listed common stocks
- Free Float Rate : More than 10% of the current fiscal year

Financial Criterion
- The business must not have experienced impaired capital for the last fiscal year
- The business must not have had continuous business losses for the last 2 fiscal years
